It all started when our sister shop, Sustainable Travel & Living, grew to become a trusted small, women-owned-business source for corporate branding and gifting.

Then, we started looking at products like single-use-plastic event name badges and how we could create our own eco-friendly options.

At the same time, we were building more sustainability/ESG training and creds into our teams’ executive-level consulting experience.

Enter Earthlight: offering all our sustainable business solutions under one roof, where our hope is to help good brands do better.

Founder & Chief Consultant

With over 20 years of marketing and executive leadership experience, from start-up to Fortune 500, Lauren’s passion is helping brands reengineer their strategies and their stories against the triple bottom line: people, planet and profit.

She also reeaaally loves travel (50+ countries and seven continents visited). Before starting her own consultancy in 2016, it was her executive tenure in the travel industry that sparked a call to help individuals and business alike leave a lighter footprint and make a more positive impact.

A self-proclaimed student of sustainability… and of life, her official degrees are a BA from Purdue University and MBA from University of California, Irvine.

Ann Roehrig

Co-Captain & Consultant

Ann’s passion for sustainability sprouted from over a decade of work in the building appraisal industry. Here she took initiative to pursue LEED Green Associate and Accredited Senior Appraiser designations while driving greener thought leadership.

It’s this detail-orientation that sees her managing everything from our client gifting projects and waste audits to business operations and our laser branding machine alike.

A family affair: like Lauren (her sister-in-law!), Ann also holds a BS from Purdue University. (Yes, we can sing you the fight song.)
